1. Protective
Hood: The optional protective hood is made from strong, lightweight,
UV resistant PVC or powder-coated
extruded aluminum (depending on hardware color selection). Our
uniquely designed hood will shield your investment from the elements
when retracted and is ideal for use with roof-mounted or wall-mounted
units.
2. Installation Bracket:
Our structurally superior installation bracket combines strength
and versatility in a compact design. The vacuum injection-cast
aluminum bracket can be used in overhead or wall mounting applications.
The bracket is also treated with a durable powder coat finish
to resist corrosion.
3. Frame Castings:
The cast-formed frame components use the same aluminum alloy,
casting process and coating finish as our superior installation
brackets. All of our castings follow strict manufacturing and
testing guidelines, to ensure the highest quality, product longevity
and value.
4. Retractable Arms:
Our retractable arms incorporate many unique features such as
the Double Locking Pinch System, single
stainless steel 4mm cable and an exceptionally large, articulated
elbow. These key features, combined with our epoxy assembly process,
ensure that our arms will stand the test of time and continued
use. The arm tension is activated through cables and springs.
Our cables are 128 strand aircraft quality, 10,000 pound-test
cables. They work in conjunction with the cold-wound internal
arm springs, and present a beautiful, taut fabric.
5. Torsion Bar:
The 40mm square bar is the backbone of our shading system. Our
torsion bar is available in steel or aluminum, with a polyester
powder coated finish. The large profile dimension ensures that
your investment will remain in adjustment and react properly
to changing wind loads.
6. Front Bars:
This unique, extruded aluminum component incorporates a four-chamber
profile. The use of four chambers with extra internal ribs greatly
reduces deflection. Reducing deflection works to present the
most taut fabric possible and eliminates unsightly front bar
sagging and bowing.
7. Roller Tube:
Our premium grade roller tube is made of cold-rolled steel that
has a galvanized finish inside and out. The cut ends are resealed
with a galvanized finish. Our roller tube has a 78mm diameter
and a 1.25mm wall thickness. By combining these dimensions we
create an S4000 that will span up to widths of 21 feet without
a center support or a split roller. Reducing deflection in the
roller tube provides a better looking final product.
8. Motors: We offer
several optional series of tubular motors that provide, quiet,
touch-of-a-button operating convenience. The motor itself is
contained within the roller tube of the unit and has weatherproof
seals preventing damage from the elements. All motors are specifically
sized to the unit dimensions and are UL approved for safety.
